Pre-Veterinary Medicine Certificate

The undergraduate certificate in Pre-Veterinary Medicine is designed to introduce undergraduate students to the magnitude, possibilities, and rigors of veterinary school programs and career options, while being mindful of intangible but critical skills such as communication, collaboration, decision-making, financial literacy, and resilience. These skills will be invaluable tools as students investigate issues that may affect them individually and the veterinary profession as a whole.

Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and have earned at least 30 credit hours at the undergraduate level with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

In addition to successfully completing the minimum 14 credit hours of course work with a C or better, students must also successfully complete an approved experiential course with a veterinary industry focus.
