Growing the next generation of leaders in agriculture requires intentional cultivation. This certificate provides a foundation in leadership focused on contemporary issues in agriculture, agribusiness, and food production. Through the lens of agriculturally related issues, students will develop skills related to critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and project management.
For admission into the Agricultural Leadership undergraduate certificate program, students must submit an application and be in good academic standing. When applying for admission into the certificate, students must upload their plan of study for the certificate.
To complete the Undergraduate Certificate in Agricultural Leadership requires a GPA of at least 3.0 with no grade less than C. In addition to successfully completing the 12 hours of course work with a C or better, students must also successfully complete an approved experiential course with a leadership focus. Completion of the Agricultural Leadership Experience is documented by registration in AFE 390 .
