In keeping with the standards of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the undergraduate program in communication sciences and disorders is considered to be a preprofessional degree program. To meet Kentucky licensure and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certification requirements, it is necessary to complete a master’s degree. Students pursuing this program should plan on six years to complete both the Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Science programs.
