Animal Sciences Minor

The Animal Sciences minor provides students with hands-on, foundational knowledge in the management of equine and livestock production, enhancing their understanding of animal biology, nutrition, reproduction, and genetics. This minor is an excellent complement to majors in agriculture, life sciences, or related fields, offering practical skills applicable to careers in animal care, production, and agribusiness. By integrating scientific principles with hands-on learning, the minor prepares students for opportunities in animal-related industries.
