EDL 480 - Professional Internship in Leadership for Community Education and Learning

[3 Credit Hours]

This is a cooperative educational program between Leadership for Community Education & Learning (LCE) majors at the University of Kentucky and approved community organizations that collaborate with senior-level students within a chosen professional field. Students will work with their organizational placements to develop a ‘focused’ professional project to be completed throughout the semester. Ultimately the course is meant to establish mutually beneficial relationships by which stakeholder relations are improved while students have an opportunity to build relationships and networks that could encourage future career development.

Prereq: Senior level; LCE major.
