NUR 360 - Professional Communication in Nursing Practice for the RN-BSN Program

This course was created for the RN-BSN track. In this course, students will learn about effective communication with their nursing peers, professional colleagues, interdisciplinary team, patients and families. Students will learn about effective scholarly oral and written communication with the scientific community at-large. Students will learn and apply effective oral and written communication strategies with patients and families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide quality care and promote optimal patient outcomes. Students will learn skills to synthesize and evaluate evidence-based interventions to provide safe, high-quality ethical competent care to all populations across the continuum of care.

Prereq: Primary Degree/Primary major: NUGE-BSN.
