Department of Educational Leadership Studies

The Department of Educational Leadership Studies seeks to improve the quality of educational organizations through improved training and competence of leaders. The department is particularly mindful of its obligation to supply the needs of Kentucky for high quality leaders across a range of P20 organizations. Programs are offered at the Bachelors, Masters, Education Specialist, and Doctoral levels to meet a wide range of educational leadership needs as well as to meet specific requirements for a graduate certificate in school technology leadership, instructional coaching, leadership for deeper learning, and executive educational leadership. The Department of Educational Leadership Studies offers state licensure programs for the teacher leader endorsement, school principals, and superintendents of schools.
