EDL 495: Topical Seminar in Leadership for Community Education will enable the undergraduate program to embed new topics and current trends into the curriculum, keeping it fresh and exciting for students. This will help to attract new students to the undergraduate program or certificate by showcasing the program’s commitment to staying up-to-date with emerging trends and issues related to leadership in community education and human learning. Additionally, the seminar-style course will provide students with an opportunity to engage in critical thinking and discussion with their peers, further developing their communication and collaboration skills.
