MI 482 - INTRODUCTION TO VIROLOGY

MI 482 will introduce students to the physical, chemical, and biological properties of viruses. The key elements of the viral life cycle will be examined in molecular detail for representative viruses, and critical aspects of host-pathogen interactions will be discussed.

Prereq: BIO 304 and biochemistry or equivalent strongly recommended, or consent of the instructor.
