GER 212 - GERMAN FOR READING KNOWLEDGE II College of Arts and Sciences

The course will confront students with a variety of texts with ever increasing difficulty. Students will be provided with the foundation necessary both for understanding the evalution of German literature, history, and culture, and with the reading skills necessary for them to use the language in their coursework. Completion of the two-semester sequence will enable undergraduates to pursue a course of study leading to the proposed certificate in German Studies.
Prereq: GER 211, or GER 201 and permission of instructor or GER 202.
