A critical examination of some philosophical problems concerning the nature and evaluation of social and political organizations. For example, questions concerning the nature, justification, and limits of political power may be explored in connection with a study of important classical positions.
Prereq: PHI 130, 330, or 335, or the consent of the instructor.
