This course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to properly use basic tools and equipment to assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical systems. The introductory course will provide students with information on safety, proper use of common hand tools, material characteristics, fasteners, sizing, and troubleshooting common problems.
