This elective period in the fourth year is an opportunity for a student to participate in a general surgery practice in a rural setting. Clinical, 40 hours minimum.

Prereq: Admission to the fourth year, College of Medicine, and/or by permission of the Student Progress and Promotions Committee.
Repeatable up to 20 credit hours.
