A course in identification, characterization, and quantification of the proteins in tissues and cells. Mass spectrometric methods are of central importance, and those techniques (including data analysis) are a major focus of the course.

Prerequisite(s):
Prereq: CHE 232, a course in physical chemistry at or above the 400- level.
