Instructional Coaching Certificate

The graduate certificate in Instructional Coaching prepares veteran educators to lead job-embedded professional development efforts in P-12 schools. The required courses, EDL 638 Instructional Coaching and Mentoring , EDL 706 Leadership for Learning-centered Schools 1 , and EDL 708 Organizational Learning in P-12 Schools , provide leadership development focused on facilitating teacher teams, coaching novice and veteran teachers, and supporting innovation and renewal initiatives. This certificate is one of four offered by the Department of Educational Leadership Studies.
