The Graduate Certificate in Improving Healthcare Value is a 15 credit hour interdisciplinary program led by senior faculty members from the Colleges of Public Health, Business and Economics, and Engineering. This certificate provides opportunities for UK graduate students, UK HealthCare staff, and others working in healthcare settings to enhance their knowledge and skills related to improving the value (quality and cost) of health care services. Students can choose between a business and finance track and a patient safety and quality track. Both tracks require a core course, CPH 600, and four additional courses that are part of the MBA and MHA required curricula, with the option to substitute guided electives.
