Business Certificate

NOTE: This certificate is not available to students pursuing a major in the Gatton College of Business and Economics. Students pursuing this certificate must complete the designated online sections of the required courses.

The online Undergraduate Certificate in Business is designed to provide students with a foundation in the major disciplines of business through an introduction to the essential aspects of business administration, accounting, economics, management, marketing, and finance. The course work will provide students with a skill set that is complementary to any discipline, allowing them to make sound personal financial decisions as well as better understand the operations of the organizations in which they will eventually work. The certificate is open to non-Gatton students of any major and non-degree seeking students. The Business Certificate is not available to students pursuing a major in the Gatton College of Business and Economics.
