The Graduate Certificate in Sport, Fitness, and Recreation Management is designed for current professionals to increase their knowledge base in areas of leadership, diversity, and innovation. The Graduate Certificate affords students the opportunity to be a part of the University of Kentucky tradition, while also giving them advanced course work in areas of problem solving, sport leadership, and promotion of well-being. The curriculum is designed to give students flexibility with their course work to tailor their interests to their current and potential careers.
Admission Requirements
A prerequisite to admission to the Sport, Fitness, and Recreation Management certificate is admission to the University of Kentucky Graduate School. That requires evidence of an awarded baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning. In addition to full admission to any existing graduate program, Graduate School admission status may be post-baccalaureate or non-degree.
