The graduate program in Communication offers a Graduate Certificate in Health Communication. It is available to (a) students in the Ph.D. And M.A. programs in communication, (b) students in other doctoral programs at the university and (c) post-baccalaureate students. The program is aimed primarily at individuals interested in developing specialized knowledge and research expertise in health communication that could be applied within both academic and nonacademic settings. Students are expected to have a background in social or behavioral science prior to entering the program.
