The Kinesiology: Exercise Science Option leads to employment opportunities in the clinical exercise science field, athletics, sports and fitness industries, as well as professional programs in health fields such as Physical Therapy, Physicians Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.
The Kinesiology: Strength and Conditioning Option leads to employment opportunities within the professional strength and conditioning field. By completing this track, students are eligible to sit for the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam offered by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
The CSCS is the gold standard certification for strength and conditioning professionals globally. In addition, the exercise science-based curriculum in this track can lead to employment opportunities in the athletics, sports and fitness industries, as well as professional programs in health fields such as Physical Therapy, Physicians Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.
