LIN 715 - ADVANCED SEMINAR IN PHONOLOGY (SUBTITLE REQUIRED) College of Arts & Sciences

Advanced seminar in special topics in phonology; examples of prospective topics include: prosodic categories, historical phonology, syllable structure, mergers and neutralization, coarticulation, etc. May be repeated under different subtitles to a maximum of six credits. This course may require LIN 740 taken concurrently.
Prerequisite(s): Prereq: LIN 615 (Advanced Phonology) or similar course approved by the Director of Graduate Studies; may require LIN 740 taken concurrently. Repeatable up to 6 credit hours.
