HP 750 - ARCHITECTURE DESIGN STUDIO College of Design
Credits: 6
An advanced studio in architectural design for students with academic preparation in design who intend to specialize in preservation. Projects include adaptive reuse of historic structures and the design of new structures within historic contexts, using sites in Kentucky as foci for investigations. Individual and team projects for public interest, involving interaction with local preservation and planning groups and other professional and academic disciplines. Lecture, two hours; studio 12 hours per week.
