PM 676 - WOMEN’S HEALTH: A PUBLIC HEALTH PERSPECTIVE

A seminar for analysis of women’s health issues using a global, public health approach incorporating theory, research, and health policy. Topics such as the epidemiology of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality among women, gender roles and health, reproductive health, women’s mental health, and women in the health care system will be examined. Students will select a topic from a wide range of women’s health issues for in-depth exploration.

Prereq: Graduate or professional standing and consent of instructor.
