PPS 910 - INTRODUCTION TO PHARMACY PRACTICE

An introduction to the practice of pharmacy within the major practice settings. Includes an introduction to the profession and discussions of the pharmacist within the health care system, professional pharmacy organizations, models and sites of practice, postgraduate educational and career opportunities, an introduction to product compounding and administration, professionalism, and required community service experiences.

Prerequisite(s):
Prereq: Admission to first year, College of Pharmacy.
