NEU 853 - NEUROLOGY CONSULTATION

College of Medicine

Credits: 4

The student(s) will evaluate acute care patients at the UK/VA Medical Centers with a team consisting of the student and a Neurology faculty member. The patients have acute neurological complaints and complications. The team addresses these problems in the role of consultants to other medical-surgical services. Lecture, 15 hours; laboratory, 25 hours for ten weeks.

Prerequisite(s):
Prereq: Successful completion of third year clerkship.
