MDE 801 - CLINICAL ETHICS SUMMER INTENSIVE

College of Medicine

Credits: 4

This course offers the opportunity for immersive experiences in the hospital setting that are designed to foster communication skills as well as self-reflection regarding classic clinical ethics issues. Students will also look in-depth at classic clinical ethics controversies and ethical dilemmas, discuss and debate these issues with their peers through Journal Club-style meetings. A significant portion of this intensive is comprised of shadowing activities with various support services throughout UK Chandler hospital.
