CPH 701 - CURRENT ISSUES IN PUBLIC HEALTH

This seminar course will introduce M.S. and Ph.D. students to the critical role of public health in protecting, maintaining, and improving the health of the population. Specific emphasis will be directed to the ‘Ten Essential Functions of Public Health’ through weekly lectures, readings, and writing assignments. While all five core areas of public health will be introduced.

Prerequisite(s):
Prereq: Admission to College of Public Health MS or PhD program.
Repeatable up to 2 credit hours.
