An examination of family economics and resource management issues and their impact on the well-being of families across the major transitions of the family life-cycle. The complex process of financial decision- making and the role of the financial counselor are addressed. Best practices in assisting individuals and families facing financial challenges and increasing their level of financial capability, while decreasing their financial stress through personal financial counseling processes will be addressed.
Prereq: CEF 351 and CEF 352 OR consent of the instructor.
