APP 700 - Appalachian Studies Transdisciplinary Seminar [1 Credit Hours]
This is an interdisciplinary, cross-college course introducing graduate students to Appalachian Studies. It is coordinated by an Appalachian Studies Program faculty member, with other faculty members visiting the seminar as guest speakers and co-facilitators. Students will read and discuss key literature on diverse histories, communities, and vital contemporary conversations in the Appalachian region, becoming familiar with transdisciplinary theoretical and methodological approaches and applying them to their own projects.
