AT 603 - PHARMACOLOGY AND PAIN FOR ATHLETIC TRAINERS

This is a 2-credit course designed for students pursuing a certification in Athletic Training or similar professional license in a health care profession that requires critical thinking skills for assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. Specifically, this course will focus on pain and pharmacological interventions commonly seen in athletic training clinical practice. The student will be required to demonstrate competencies in written examinations and projects.

Prerequisite(s):
Prereq: Formal acceptance into the Master of Science in Athletic Training program at the University of Kentucky or consent of instructor.
