BAE 223 - EXPLORATION OF ENGINE TECHNOLOGY Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering

An exploration of the mechanical components and operating principles of internal combustion engines including fuel delivery, ignition, combustion, emissions, lubrication and maintenance. Students will disassemble and reassemble, perform service and maintenance on, and troubleshoot common problems with internal combustion engines. No prior experience or knowledge of engines is expected.
Prereq: BAE 221.
