Criminal Justice Minor

The minor in Criminal Justice provides a foundational understanding of the multifaceted criminal justice system. This minor cultivates critical thinking through examining the role of social and legal systems, structures, and institutions in addressing individual and community needs and seeking equitable outcomes. Current trends in public policies, and diversion and treatment including restorative and juvenile justice are examined.
