Economics Minor (Business and Economics)

NOTE: Students with a Gatton major must take at least 6 hours in the minor that do not count toward their Gatton major requirements.

This minor is not available to students pursuing a major in the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Economics, Foreign Language & International Economics or Mathematical Economics.

Minor Residency Requirement

At least one-half of the upper-division credit hours in the Minor Requirements must have been completed at the University of Kentucky or through an approved Education Abroad program through the University of Kentucky or other pre-approved international partner.

ECO 401 - INTERMEDIATE MICROECONOMIC THEORY Credit(s): 3
Three additional economics courses at the 300-level or above Credit(s): 9
Students must take at least 6 hours of upper-division classes from the from the University of Kentucky or through an approved Education Abroad program through the University of Kentucky or other pre-approved international partner (50 percent of the upper-division requirement for a minor).
