Any student earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree must complete a minimum of 39 hours at the 300+ level. These hours are generally completed by the major requirements. Students must complete at least 6 hours of free electives to bring the total number of credit hours to 120. Free electives may not be counted toward UK Core or A&S requirements. Students may not take additional courses offered by the Gatton College of Business and Economics to fulfill free electives.
