Animal Enterprises and Production


The Animal Enterprises and Production Option allows students to focus their studies on animal care and management and allied areas such as agronomy, accounting, agricultural economics, and business. This Option prepares students to go directly into careers within the animal agriculture industries. Students fulfilling the Major Requirements are eligible for the Animal Enterprises and Production Option by taking certain required Specialty Support Courses (see below).  In addition, students with more specific interests may, but are not required to, choose from two specializations available within this Option. Students work with their advisors to create plans of study that best suit their career goals.

Complete a minimum of 6 hours at the 200- level or above from the following course prefixes: ACC, AEC, B&E, ECO, FFC, FIN, MGT, MKT Credit(s): 6

Complete an additional 12 hours from any approved Specialty Support Credit(s): 12

Equine Specialization


Complete a minimum of 6 hours from the following courses:
