BSC732 - INTERDISCIPLINARY PROTOCOL DEVELOPMENT

This course will introduce students to the processes involved in the development and implementation of interdisciplinary research. Students will be introduced to key aspects of the leadership, communication and teamwork involved in interdisciplinary research. Students will also be introduced to the structure and functioning of the NIH and the NIH grant application and review process. Finally, students will apply their knowledge regarding the research methods and technologies of clinical and translational science to develop an NIH-format research grant application that addresses a research topic in their own area of interest. This course is intended for advanced graduate or professional students pursuing focused research training in one of the degree or certificate programs available in clinical and translational science.

Prereq: BSC 731.
